For several years Sound Waves produced a booklet entitled "On the Record" which featured a calendar of musical events in Cornwall and Devon. It was hugely popular, because it was very comprehensive and because it was free! Unfortunately the funding which, with advertising, enabled SWSW to afford its production ceased, and although it has been a very difficult decision SWSW has in 2008 decided to stop production as we cannot allow costs of On the Record to detract and take from the provision of Music Therapy.

However we know there is a need and a desire for a music based events diary and we will provide this through our special "On the Record" website. As this is developed we can offer promotion, email alerts and a comprehensive events service. Help us to expand the site by emailing us with your events and we will endeavour to publicise them for you. If you let us know in advance and if you check the site you should additionally help to avoid those really unhappy clashes and enable you all to plan ahead to maximise your events.
